Imagine happiness expanding all around you and feel yourself fill up with authentic happiness.
One of the most helpful exercises you can do to bring more authentic happiness into your life is to learn to relax and let your imagination flow and expand. This is a happy, fun and playful thing to do.
Yes I said play. All too often we get hung up on being too serious with our pursuit of happiness and forget to have fun while developing it. After all this is about being happy.
Your imagination is the key to finding happiness in as many places and events that it is possible to do.
Now we are going to play a game that will help you to find happiness easily. It's called the s called "Make it Up Game".
You will need a friend to play this with. Choose someone who has a great recipe for happiness in ridiculous or unusual situations. When you're with your friends having fun being silly and ridiculous you're displaying the attitude of extreme happiness, which is unlimited and infectious. During this time you say whatever comes to you without thinking about it. This is the attitude you need for this game.
The Game Rules
1. Make your intention to put as much authentic happiness feeling into this game as possible.
2. Imagine your partner has come to you to learn how to be a clown.
3. Describe how your partner will be dressed as a clown
4. Tell your partner what they are doing and get them to act it out.
5. If at any point your partner cannot do what you ask they will ask you to demonstrate it to them because, after all, you are the Master Clown who is teaching the pupil.
6. Keep going until a natural end presents itself. Aim for at least 10 minutes.
7. Now swop over. Your partner is now the teacher. Repeat the game.
The more you practice this the better you will get at it. You will soon know how to find happiness in the ridiculous and this will lead you to find happiness in the small and large things that constantly come into your life.
The main thing is to not take this too seriously. Keep the happiness juices flowing.
